There are some produce items that are called "The Dirty Dozen." They are foods that are the "if you are only going to buy a few things organic, buy these." Some foods are more susceptible to pesticide residue lingering and seeping into the flesh through the skin. Here is the list:

So when you see these things on sale: buy them, freeze them, eat them.
