Green in the Garden

Today's picks from the garden were mostly green - 2 Green Zebra Tomatoes, 35 Green Beans and 2 Green Bell Peppers.  I also picked 20 cherry tomatoes.  The time in between my last harvest and todays was 5 days, it is amazing how slow the harvest is compared to the full blown season of July and August.  I blanched the beans and froze them, thus adding to the gallons I already have in there.  The Green Zebras are given away to friends and the cherry tomatoes are frozen.  The Bell Peppers were eaten with dinner tonight.  It is nice to still be able to pick dinner from the garden in October.
