Making bark is an easy thing to do it you want to make something to bring to someone's house at the holidays. It is also a great filler in your cookie tin. This recipe is also great for people who have gluten intolerance. Simple, easy and pretty.
Ingredients:
2 pounds of white chocolate
1 cup crushed candy canes
tsp peppermint extract
Here's how:
Combine the chocolate and extract into a microwave safe bowl.
Heat for 30 seconds at a time, taking out and mixing after each 30 seconds. Continue this way until the chocolate is melted.
Once it is all melted, add the candy canes.
Pour the mix onto a cookie sheet covered with foil, parchment or a silicone mat. Spread into an even layer.
Let cool completely.
Break into pieces. I use a zip top bag and hit it with a meat mallet.
